Who is Dr. Zafer Erk?

Dr. Zafer Erk is an experienced cardiovascular surgeon serving in Antalya, with over 30 years of public healthcare experience. He graduated from Çukurova University Faculty of Medicine in 1994 and then served in various provinces across Türkiye. He began his specialty training at Süleyman Demirel University Heart Center in 2007 and completed it in 2013. Since residency, Dr. Erk has focused on peripheral vascular surgery. At Batman Regional State Hospital, he restored a patient’s health by intervening in an inferior vena cava thrombosis with a technique not previously performed in Türkiye. He currently provides vascular surgery services at Antalya Private Olimpos Hospital using modern, minimally invasive methods.
